Technically, Nickel 201 is a variant of Nickel 200. The carbon concentration in Nickel 201 is slightly higher by 0.5 percent (0.20 percent max) than in Nickel 200 (0.15 percent), allowing the metals to be lighter and more pliable. Nickel 201 is resistant to a wide range of reducing chemicals and dry fluorine solutions, making it ideal for use in toxic and volatile settings. Alloy 201 gives industrial pipes and tubes strength, stability, and longevity. Nickel 201 has good fabrication qualities, allowing it to connect pipes and tubes using traditional welding, brazing, and soldering procedures.

UNS N02200 is wrought nickel that is economically pure (99.6%). Nickel 200 tubes are commercially pure and have outstanding mechanical qualities and excellent corrosion resistance to alkalis, such as sodium hydroxide. Nickel 200 is resistant to corrosion in reducing and caustic alkaline environments. It has excellent thermal and electrical conductivity to pipes and tubes with less than 600 degrees Fahrenheit operating temperature. Thermal conductivity refers to a material's capacity to convey heat. The lines and boxes absorb noises and vibrations while producing heat. Nickel 200 improves industrial pipes and tubes' stability, performance, and longevity. These Nickel 200 pipes and tubes can be readily welded using traditional butt-welding, brazing, forging, and soldering methods. This composition has a melting point of 1446 degrees Celsius, minimum yield strength of 148 MPa, a minimum tensile strength of 462 MPa, and a break elongation of 45 percent.
